I am the 3rd owner of this numbers matching 1955 Chevy 210 4-Door with some of its original paperwork (original owners manual, some documentation from the original sale). I drove this car briefly in the mid 70’s and then stored it in a garage until the late 2000’s. I know the history of this car and it has spent all of its life garaged. Starting in late 2007 all mechanical components have been rebuilt or inspected and refreshed. An absolutely reliable driver since 2010.
Car has 71,100 original miles on it. It is powered by its original 265 cubic inch Small Block Chevy V8 (rebuilt) and Powerglide transmission (disassembled, inspected and soft kit installed). Brakes have been converted to Power Assisted Front Disks and Rear Drums with self adjusters. Charging System upgraded to an alternator and currently running a Pertronix II points eliminator. Recently replaced the original radiator with a Cold Case aluminum that looks and fits like the orginal. All upgrades done to enhance reliability and safety.
Body is original and in good condition (Paint has patina that has developed over the years but still very presentable). Only minor rust areas are drivers side fender above the headlight and damage on right doors (mostly rear door) that wasn't repaired. Interior has new correct seat covers and carpet as well as an original looking stereo with bluetooth.
Any parts replaced during upgrades (brakes, generator, distributor, starter and radiator) are available with the car if someone wants to take it back to fully original.
Car must be seen and especially driven to be appreciated.
