The 1993 wagon shown here was originally built in 1993, delivered to Belgium, and sold new on 9/14/1994. The M5 then made its way to Sweden where it was first registered on 6/22/2000. Its last registered address in Sweden was just outside of Stockholm when Car Cave purchased the BMW and imported to the United States. The exterior paint has been resprayed in the original Granite Silver Metallice (Granitsilber Metallic 237) and shows well for its age. M5 models came with supple leather and front seat and headrest design unique to the M5 with this BMW retaining the original leather finished in Black (Schwarz Volleder 0318). Power is derived from a 3.8L S38 Inline-6 that that runs great and idles smooth. A 5-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear which is equipped with the factory optioned self-leveling suspension. The 'throwing star' M-System II wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot tires; 235/45R17 on the front and 255/40/17's on the rear.The E34 was and still is considered one of the most reliable BMW's ever made.
