This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute has is cool and correct
full green package. Plus, with proper big block power and the right
recent investments, this is the muscle car icon that's both sharp
and distinctive.
The '72 Chevelle will go down in history as the final year for one
of the most desirable coupe designs around. Chevy created something
special when combining the wide/imposing front ends, pillarless
hardtop profile, and fastback-style rear. So it's great to have
added distinction on this one with its full factory color package.
The Sequoia Green represents the 1970s nicely, and a more recent
respray means it shines with modern driver appeal. This would be
the final year that the bumpers would hug the body's form, and so
it's great to see these chrome kings in such good condition. The
mirrors, emblems, and trim all show a good shine, too. Plus, you
have the best SS-style upgrades, like the cowl hood, dual racing
stripes, and mag-style wheels.
The sea of green continues inside to really give you that classic
car feel. But while the presentation is vintage, there was a solid
investment in the carpeting, dash, and headliner to keep this
feeling quite fresh. This has all the right vintage elements, like
the two rows of wide bench seating, wood-like trim on the doors,
and a dual-spoke steering wheel that gives you a view to a
speedometer that's as wide as the horizon. You'll get the full
nostalgic feeling, right down to the Delco AM radio that's still on
display. But investments in this car also mean the right
well-placed upgrades. For example, your real driving music comes
from an AM/FM/CD/XM stereo w/USB input that's hidden away in the
glovebox. And the auxiliary gauges under the dash let you know
you'll like what's under the hood.
The 402 cubic-inch V8 has some nice style with the polished
Chevrolet valve covers and air grabber. Of course, what you'll
really like are the performance upgrades. The Holley double-pumper
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock mid-rise intake, MSD 6AL digital
ignition, and shorty headers are all part of an extra powerful
package. The consignor even states that this motor was rebuilt only
about 4k miles ago. The engine fires up nicely and the dual exhaust
gives a great big block tune. The remanufactured Jasper three-speed
automatic transmission shifts smooth, and the power steering makes
cruising easy.
This is the all-green Chevelle that has the right Super Sport
upgrades to make others green with envy. So don't let this coupe
slip away. Call today!!!
