178 Original miles. A brand new matching convertible top and rear window just installed due to two small stains and to keep the car looking just like new. New breaks and a new battery. The vehicle was won by the original owner in a Cancer Society Charity Auction. The engine is the original 1.6 liter dual overhead cam four-cylinder with 5-speed manual transmission. The Engine area appears in largely original and un-restored condition, with no evidence to suggest the vehicle has accumulated more than the miles indicated on the odometer. All wiring and harnesses in the engine area show in excellent condition with no evidence of altered or damaged wiring observed. Belts and hoses all appear to be the originals. The factory VIN stickers on both front fenders and the hood were observed. The engine area is clean but undetailed, with some light surface oxidation observed on a few uncoated components under the hood.
The exterior finish was tested with a calibrated CEM DT 156 coating thickness tester. The paint averaged 4.07 mils over 40 test points. There is no evidence of any paintwork having ever been done to the vehicle, it appears to be wearing all of its original paint. The vehicle has recently been detailed. Original factory wheels show in excellent condition with no cosmetic damage observed. Vehicle retains its original Dunlop tires, size 185/60 R14. Outer rubber weather seals show in good usable condition with no notable damage observed. All glass in the vehicle is original Ford Car-lite marked pieces with no damage in any of the glass of observed. There is no hardtop with the car. It is stored in doors in a climate controlled garage.
