A Great Example of the Marque!
A Virginia car that came into the current family’s ownership 25 years ago in need of restoration. They had a full frame/body-off restoration done which was documented with most receipts AND photos. The car was garage-kept and little-used until recently when it was re-awakened, serviced by a professional shop, and shod with 4 new radial tires before being brought to the Classic Car Center to find the next owner.

The British Racing Green paint chosen for this Triumph is a beautiful finish and is in very nice condition. The paint gleams and shows off this sports car’s great lines.
All of the chrome is in good condition with scratches on bumpers.
The body and interior of the car appear free of rust, and the underside shows minor surface rust that is commonplace on a car of this vintage (see pictures). The engine compartment is clean.
The Black upholstery (seats as well as door panels) was replaced when the car was restored and is like-new. The dash and carpeting are in excellent condition as well.
The 6 cylinder OHV engine (with just re-built carburetors) runs and drives almost like new. It is a fully capable of propelling this Triumph through the curves and twists of mountain roads as well as docile enough to take you to the ice cream Shoppe.
The manual 4-speed synchromesh transmission shifts properly and smoothly as one would expect in this famous marque.
The black convertible top is in excellent condition and is simple to operate. The car has a black boot cover as well to protect the top when it is down.
This TR6 has 4 brand new Firestone 205/70R15 tires installed in early October, 2020, just before the car passed Virginia’s state safety inspection.
The brakes are disc in the front and drum on the back that work properly and smoothly in bringing the car to a rapid and safe stop from the high speeds this car is capable of reaching. The braking system was rebuilt recently.
All of the engine/systems monitoring gauges/lights (speedometer, tachometer, water temperature, fuel, amp and oil pressure) work properly. Similarly, the lights, horn, and turn signals all work correctly.
The TR6 is equipped with driver’s and passenger’s seat belts. A roll bar was also installed for extra protection. Should you get caught in a sudden rainstorm, the convertible top provides a ready answer for your comfort.
