1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Real SS Gorgeous!! Marina Blue with rare Ivory interior! This is a real 138 code Super Sport with a killer color combination! Kansas built car, then delivered to Texas. All body panels are really straight, clean original body, nice fit and finish. It has a very glossy smooth finish. The chrome and trim on the car is a combination of replaced and good original trim. Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. Stainless, mirrors, emblems and moldings have been replaced. The front grill is original and in good condition. The rocker moldings have been replaced. The door jambs are painted glossy. The rubber around the vent windows was replaced. New weather stripping. It rides on a set of 15" Chevy Rally wheels with new trim rings and a set of flat caps with a new set of BFG T/A radial tires. The engine compartment has its VIN # matching 396 cu in 325 hp motor. The codes, casting and dates line up too. Complete rebuild runs perfect. It has a great sounding idle, very nice response. All A/C components are hooked up but not blowing cold. Factory chrome valve covers, stock exhaust manifolds, dual feed Holley carb with factory air cleaner. Overall the motor compartment is very presentable. It is proper and orderly. Rare Ivory interior, has factory bucket seats and a center console for a 4-speed. Seats have been re-upholstered, new carpet, door panels, armrest bases, headliner and factory steering wheel. The dash area is nice and original, factory style gauges were added and all work and has its original AM radio. All glass is tinted and in great shape and has front and rear seatbelts. The undercarriage is all clean metal, stainless steel dual exhaust system that dumps out behind the rear wheels. The bottom of the engine is clean. Has a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission. The front end and suspension look good. It has a 12 bolt rear end with 3:31 gears. All floors, inner rockers and braces look great, new body bushings and e-brake cables are all hooked up and working. The trunk is rock solid and detailed nicely with a Redline spare tire and jack assembly, trunk mat and a nice coat of splatter paint.
