1929 Ford Model A Pickup in Dark Blue over Brown Leather Upholstery
done by Sid Chavers. Equipped with a 400ci V8 Engine mated to a
700R4 Automatic Transmission. This incredible custom hot rod was
built by Lucky 7 Speed Shop and has earned prestigious awards
including the '2014 Goodguys Truck of the Year' and 'Top 12' at
Goodguys Scottsdale. Countless hours went in to this outstanding
show winning build, with extremely high quality custom work and no
detail overlooked. The entire cab and bed are hand-built, and the
doors have been stretched 2 inches. The aprons, running boards, and
louvered belly pan are all hand-built as well. The fenders were
reworked and formed to match the arch of the Dayton wire wheels and
Excelsior radial tires. The beautiful paint is a custom PPG mix
from Lucky 7, and was laid down flawlessly by Concept Auto Body.
One-off aluminum rear roll pan, bed mounted fuel tank, and
firewall. The chassis was custom built by Lucky 7 and features a
nickel-plated independent front suspension with rack & pinion
steering, Four-bar quick change rear end, and Wilwood disc brakes.
The interior features a Zebra wood floor and matching custom built
steering wheel, Custom gauges from Redline, and Leather baseball
stitched seats done by Sid Chavers. The 400ci Engine is
complemented by three Stromberg 97 carbs, Edelbrock Aluminum heads,
MSD ignition, and custom valve covers / headers / exhaust from
Lucky 7. This incredible one of a kind Pickup is ready for a new
