Art & Speed is proud to offer this magnificent example of
Chevrolet's gut-punch response to the Mustang - the 396ci big-block
1967 Camaro SS! This is one of the finest showroom-fresh builds you
will come across; it is a no-expense-spared complete restoration
right down to the body mounts! This one is showing to be a
documented low mile example with only 3,000 miles from new.
Presented in Marina Blue with a white vinyl stripe, this SS
features all the correct striping and badging on the grille, front
fenders, gas cap, and horn button. All the chrome and brightwork
are in terrific condition. The underside of this car looks as good
as the top. Period-correct Goodyear redline F70/14 Polyglass tires
wrap the factory rally wheels, which appear in as-new
condition.
Inside the impeccably restored engine bay sits the crown jewel - a
big-block 396ci/325hp engine. An Edelbrock carb and intake sit
beneath the correct chrome air cleaner and matching valve covers.
All panels are painted in the proper Chevy paint codes. The hoses
are labeled as they would be from the factory. A dual master
cylinder pipes to the front disc and rear drum brakes. A Turbo 400
automatic transmission transfers all of the power to the 12-bolt
Posi-traction rear axle.
The interior looks factory-fresh from the door panels to the
reproduction rubber floormats and black vinyl seats. The Rosewood
steering wheel looks brand new, as does the dash, instrument
clusters, knobs, and factory triple gauges above the console. This
car also includes optional shoulder strap seatbelts.
This 1967 Camaro SS is one fine originally restored vehicle that is
sure to take you back to the heyday of the Pony Car Wars. Come to
the Art & Speed showroom and let the sight and sound of this beauty
transport you back in time, but do it quickly because we're sure it
won't last long!
