When having a simple 911 Type 991.2 Turbo S was not sufficient,
Porsche's top clients could saunter by their local dealership and
order something a bit more impressive, such as the Turbo S
Exclusive Series from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Offered from
2017 to 2019, only 500 of these very special Porsches were
constructed: 300 coupes and 200 Cabriolets. They were the among the
most powerful, yet comfortable, automobiles ever offered by
Porsche, and today they are highly sought after by knowledgeable
collectors.
Both versions were powered by an uprated 3.8-liter water-cooled
flat-six. Fitted with Porsche Exclusive's special Powerkit, these
engines delivered a massive 607 brake horsepower and 550 pound-feet
of torque to both ends of the all-wheel-drive chassis with the aid
of a pair of variable-vane turbochargers. The transmission was
Porsche's marvelous seven-speed PDK (double-clutch) system with
limited-slip. The Turbo S boasted Dynamic Chassis Control and huge
ventilated carbon-ceramic disc brakes within center-lock 20-inch
wheels. These Turbo S Exclusive-series road rockets were quicker
than a GT3 RS, touching 0-60 in under three seconds and maxing out
205 miles per hour.
Luxuriously equipped with full leather interiors with contrasting
stitching, Turbo S embroidery and carbon-fiber highlights, these
were finely trimmed machines. Air conditioning and climate control
were standard. The bodywork also utilized carbon-fiber parts in
their integrated multi-stage aerokits. Only a handful of colors
were offered for this special series, and certainly the most
attractive must be Golden Yellow Metallic (5G), first revealed at
Rennsport Reunion VI. Combined with a full Black leather interior
(60) with contrasting yellow stitching and carbon-fiber trim, along
with a Black fabric folding cloth top with twin black stripes that
match those on the front trunk lid, this Cabriolet makes a
wonderful visual statement. Only a few options were available, and
this example is fitted with a high-end Burmeister entertainment
system, Porsche's innovative front-axle lift system, and Porsche
Entry and Drive system (KESSY). The as-delivered price was
$278,450.
This rare Porsche Exclusive Series Cabriolet was delivered to its
first and only Bay area owner, a Porsche Prestige client, in early
2019 and had has accrued fewer than 2,400 miles from new. It is
supplied with its original documentation, manuals, spare keys,
tools, and car cover in Exclusive Series tote bag.To view this car
