Porsche Certificate of Authenticity included
The car has been a very-well-kept example retaining many of its
original parts. The car matches its Certificate of Authenticity
completely, including its engine, transmission, interior and
exterior colors. The wheels are properly date-coded, including the
spare, and have been beautifully re-chromed.
Its matching numbers engine has been completely rebuilt in-house
and was built to stock SC-spec with correct Solex 40PII
carburetors. The matching-numbers 4-speed transaxle has been
completely overhauled including new bearings and synchros.
Following taking the car all the way down to bare metal, the car
went through extensive metal work performed to show quality. The
car was placed on our rotisserie and every part of the body was
completed to our highest standard. The metal was then sealed and
the car was primed and extensively blocked to arrow straight. Gaps
and panel margins were worked to factory specifications. The car
was then finished in its correct glasurit Sky Blue exterior.
The undercarriage was completely restored to concours standard.
After the tub was taken to bare metal and any imperfections
corrected, the undercarriage was properly re-undercoated and
sealed. Then, every nut and bolt was correctly re-plated and all
control arms were refinished to give the car its outstanding
presentation underneath. The cars anti-roll bars were restored and
the car received all new bushings and bearings throughout. A new
set of of correct Sachs (the successor to Boge) dampers were
installed.
The car has been completed to our highest standard and is ready for
delivery worldwide.
