Restored to original specs by a Model A expert. Finished 7 years
ago and carefully stored covered in a garage. Driven on nice days,
it runs and drives like a new 1931.
EXTERIOR: Original Henry Ford metal. Repainted in the very
desirable and original paint scheme of Washington blue- Riviera
blue body, black fenders and Tacoma cream wheels. The doors shut
nice. The paint has a smooth glossy finish. It is even hand
pinstriped. Up front the bumper looks new, it has a restored 1931
licence plate. New Ford script glass lenses. The original
headlights and grill were professionally straightened and chromed.
It has a Moto Meter hood ornament. The cowl lights look like good
originals. The windshield frame is polished- it swings out and
folds flat. It has wing windows on each side. In back it has a
trunk rack, correct taillights, bumper looks new. It also has the
step plates for your mother in law to get into the rumble seat. It
has the deluxe cloth convertible top. It still looks great, sewn
edges. The convertible top assembly is new from LeBaron Bonney. All
6 wire wheels are powder coated and have new center caps and
lugnuts. All 6 have white wall tires. The running boards are in
excellent shape.
INTERIOR: Completely reupholstered with correct materials including
the door panels and kick panels with pouches. New correct carpeting
with the heel pad and bound edges. The gauges do function. It has a
bevelled mirror and working windshield wiper.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor runs smooth as can be. The car was
driven to Volo. The number on the engine does match the title.
Everything is completely stock with the exception of the upgrade to
a 12 volt system with an alternator.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has the desirable rumble seat feature and it
is also completely upholstered in the correct materials. It has the
correct rubber floor mat.
UNDERSIDE: It is very clean under this car. It's been prepped and
painted black. It has solid metal. It has a proper exhaust
system.
These remain as popular as ever. They have such a cute, fun factor.
They are also so easy to work on and get parts for. If you are
considering owning a Model A this is the one to have!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
