Vehicle Description

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe

Restomod, (restoration plus modern parts/technology), draws from all the amazing advancements in automobile technology over the past 40 plus years to enhance the performance, comfort and safety of the classic car. A restomod car has the timeless appearance of the original, but the outdated guts of the car have been replaced with the more modern, high-performance parts of today. You achieve the same great look, but your vintage car will be revved up with all the latest bells and whistles to create a much better ride for the owner.

What happens when you take a true classic which is in the original form of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, and make it even better?? Well, our consignment in the restomod form of the 1969 Camaro but with some snappy interior lighting, low profile tires and sexy wheels, and a powerful powerplant, looking bling to the max! There are 69 Camaros then there are 69 CAMAROS, and this one is a screamer and a shouter, as well as providing the necessary eye candy to tickle your motor-head fancy. Read ON!

Exterior
All body gaps are even; all panels are aligned and now the car is straight as an arrow. All emblems, locks and side marker lights have been removed, and now there are Detroit Speed Mini tubs in the rear. Paint is Tanzanite Blue Metallic from a BMW (rare color). The car was painted in January 2018. The floors are original with no patches and look like new. No undercoating to hide anything. All exterior sheet metal is GM except for the hood which has an added cowl. Sub frame is powder coated black, and all glass has been replaced. Marquzez billet turn signal lights and rear 3D billet taillights, Ring Brothers billet hood hinges, Detroit Speed fender supports, and 3M film on bottoms of the rear quarter panels to protect from stone chips. Schott wheels Challenger series polished 19x11 rear and 18x7 fronts, Nitto Invo tires 325/30/19 rear and 225/35/18 fronts put the power to the ground.

Interior
Slipping inside we are greeted with a Speed steel dash panel with Autometer gauges. Floor console with Autometer gauge pod, all gauge's use led bulbs and led lighting on floor. Deluxe door panels are seen, as well as Flow Fit front seats in leather with matching leather rear seat cover. Cup holders in the console and a Marquez Design Bright touch rear view mirror (led lights shine down on console). Fronting the unique dash is a Budnik steering wheel. Also, installed for your listening pleasure is Kenwood head unit with USB terminal (can play music from your phone etc.) Satellite and iPod ready, 2 Boston GT Amps and 10" sub-woofer. Rock on! Noted of interest is an Ididit tilt steering column, sound deadening on floors and trunk, and for your ultimate comfort a Vintage Air A/C system. For easy in and out and x-tra space openings...a key fob for the door locks and trunk release (hold button for five seconds to release trunk).

Drivetran
Starting at the root of all evil is a GM Ram Jet 350ci V8 (350 HP) with a Bullet racing cam and custom tune, featuring GM serpentine drive with A/C. A Tremec 5-speed with a hydraulic clutch throws power rearward to 10-bolt rear with 3.73 posi shortened 3". Leave it to the Griffin aluminum radiator to keep things under temp control. It's all about the details and inside we have a wiring harness which is American Auto Wire Classic updated series and it's all soldered and labeled and hidden as much as possible.

Undercarriage
Aluminum drive shaft, fuel tank with baffle & electric fuel pump, Ride Tech level 2 air suspension system wow oh wow. It includes tubular control arms, drop spindles, four link rear suspension. This system all features adjustable rebound on airbags for softer or harder tide via Ride Tech. Ridetech muscle bar sway bars front and rear and a Uni-steer rack with power steering are presenting proudly. Structurally sound and 13" front and 12" rear slotted and drilled rotors Wilwood (6 piston up front 4 piston rear) with Wilwood handbrake calipers. Stop right there!! I gotta know right now do you love me??! OK Meatloaf, allow me to continue!

Drive-Ability
Well let's just say if you take a classic and make it even better, one does not have a lot to lose, and plenty to gain by hopping in and driving this car. It's serious business with mucho power, great adjustable ride, and a serious cruiser. A looker, and a cooker, all buttoned up with the litany of upgrades and resto-modding talents.

A WOW-er with POW-er, gorgeous paint, snappy interior all custom and nice, and that eye candy under the hood, you need to get in here ASAP because this will be GONE, GONE like all the good things, and this one made even better!
