This 1967 BMW R60/2 was restored by the legendary motorcycle
restorer Tim Stafford in 2012. With only 1051 miles driven since
completion this motorcycle remains in very good condition. The
traditional black paint presents very well with no noticeable
defects. The numbers matching, 594cc engine starts and runs as
would be expected from such a fine machine. All 4 gears can be
shifted smoothly and brought to a quick stop with the front and
rear drum brakes.
This R60/2 comes with Givi saddlebags. "Made from a combination of
polypropylene and aluminum panels the Trekker series offers the
convenience and security of Givi hard cases in a more rugged style
for the adventure touring rider." With use of a key, these cases
can be removed from a bracket designed to fit existing mounts. When
not in use this bracket can be easily removed from the frame
mounts.
Whether being added to a collection or just an enthusiast, short
rides around town or a tour across continents, this classic 1967
BMW R60/2 is the motorcycle of choice.
