Vehicle Description
This 1969 Chevrolet C10 has an instant attraction with a sleek look
and a stepside bed. And it just takes a second glace to see this is
a full custom build with a leather-lined interior, big block crate
V8, and a quality total presentation that makes for one awesome
pickup.
There was plenty of time and money spent getting this truck smooth
and sleek. They expertly deleted the badging and got the gaps
looking great even before the first drop of red whet down. So the
glossy finish now really lets the sunshine show off the crisp lines
and terrific curves that Chevy's designers stamped into this truck
all those years ago. Not only do you have the desirable stepside
bed, but also this one has custom bed cover that fits flush right
over the top. You'll love watching the smooth action of the
hydraulic hinge as the cover lifts and reveals a useful bed with
rugged rubber mat. It reminds you that even the prettiest pickups
still are great for utility.
The custom attitude continues inside, and the focus is absolutely
on comfort. It starts with later-model GM bucket seats done in a
supple leather. This has the right upgrades like power adjustments
and three-point belts. This also has a cup holder center console,
AM/FM/CD stereo, and provisions for R134a air conditioning (likely
just needs a recharge to blow ideally cold again.) You'll also spot
some great classic truck pieces, too, like the sliding rear glass
and the western-style pattern on the door panels. The leather
wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column for a clear view
to the AutoMeter Sport-Comp speedo and tach. This combines with all
the auxiliary readouts are a clear indication of something special
under the hood.
The engine bay is filled with big block power. The 402 cubic-inch
V8 has a clean and tidy presentation that comes from a younger
crate motor. It's got all the right upgrades, including a Holley
650 double-pumper four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock performer2.0
intake, and headers that help give the Flowmaster dual exhaust a
wicked rumble. More than just big power, this has a quality feel in
the way it starts easily and idles nicely. The TH350 three-speed
transmission is stout enough to handle the power, and it also gives
you smooth automatic shifting. The C10's trailing arm rear
suspension is ideal for cruising, and this even has an added sway
bar. And you also have power steering, power brakes w/discs up
front, and wide BF Goodrich T/As at all four corners.
Sleek, powerful, and loaded - this custom truck has it all. Don't
miss you chance at the Chevy that already has everything you want.
