Rust free 1969 Amx 390 cu in, 5 speed manual transmission, Twin Grip" rear axle. Restored in 2019 by "Streetrods by Denny Inc." as Denny Olson's personal car.
This car had been in dry storage from 1979 to 2018. The car was entirely dismantled and media blasted then painted in base / clear urethane paint. The motor was rebuilt (build spec's available), "Twin Grip" rear axle rebuilt and a rebuilt T-10 5 speed manual transmission with over drive installed in the car.
The following items are new or rebuilt:
Paint, "Autowire" wiring, windshield, both bumpers replated, "Legendary" seat upholstery / door panels / seat foam, carpet, custom cloth headliner, aluminum radiator, grille, carb,front "Wilwood" brakes, front suspension, rear suspension with "Eaton" leaf springs, shocks, brake booster, new brake lines, new fuel line, exhaust, clutch, pressure plate, throwout, "Autometer" gauges with gps speedo,gas tank, tires, rims highly polished on both sides, every serviceable part on the car was removed repaired or replaced.
The car had 54244 miles on the speedo when the restoration was started. Currently there are 496 miles since restoration completion. Runs and drives well, this was an easy restoration because the body was so nice to begin with. There are some minor scratches on the door glass and back glass but were the best originals available at time of assembly. Clock does not work. The car is ready to drive and win shows, paint is beautiful with rootbeer and black combination.
