Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1975 International Scout
II. Finished in Omaha Orange with a white hard top, this truck was
restored shortly prior to the current owner's purchase in 2016.
This is a well-optioned Scout with a fuel-injected 345 cubic inch
V8, automatic transmission, power steering and power disc brakes.
Paint quality is very good and panels are straight with good gaps
and nice door fitment. There are a few marks here and there from
normal use but no serious flaws. Bumpers, trim and grille are
particularly nice. Underside looks good with solid floors, rockers
and cab supports. Nearly new BF Goodrich 33x12.50 all terrains on
15-inch alloy wheels.
Interior is mostly original and remarkably well preserved. Very
nice door panels and dash. Light wear on driver's seat edge. Modern
AM/FM stereo with USB, aux input and bluetooth. All gauges, lights
and switches are working. Factory A/C has all components present
but is not currently working. Color-matched roll bar means you can
easily upgrade from the lap belts to three-point belts for the
front seats. A nearly new bikini top is also included with the
sale.
Under the hood is an IH 345 cubic inch V8 mated to a TorqueFlite
727 automatic transmission. Within the last four years the engine
was upgraded with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, a new
distributor and complete tune-up, plus a full re-seal. Other major
service and upgrades includes a new fuel tank, transmission and
transfer case rebuild, re-sealed axes and new suspension bushings.
This Scout starts easily thanks to the EFI and runs and drives
well.
Omaha Orange is one of the best 1970s colors and this truck never
fails to turn heads. For more information about this 1975
