1967 Volkswagen Beetle
Why This Vehicle Is Special
The 1967 Volkswagen Beetle is considered by many experts as "The
Gold Standard of Volkswagen Beetles".
We have a very clean 1967 Poppy Red VW here at Skyway Classics for
sale that has been restored and in great condition as well as some
upgraded power done to the engine.
Mechanical
The engine in ours appears to be a much modified version of the
stock one with a performance rebuild upgrade to make more
horsepower than any stock VW engine.
This air-cooled powerplant not only makes more horsepower with
reliability that few cars can match the Beetle's track record. It
has good torque and virtually zero maintenance aside from making
sure there's oil in the crankcase.
The engine is sitting in a clean and detailed rear engine
compartment and is paired with a manual transmission. She drives
great, has great power, and is a nice handling VW.
Interior
The black Interior in our Beetle is both spartan and super with
smartly black vinyl buckets, the instrument panel is simple with a
single round speedometer, the steering wheel is factory, and all
the door panels, carpets, headliner are all in excellent
condition.
Exterior
Underneath our bug is quite solid, with good original floor pans
and suspension and brake components that look like they've seen
regular maintenance over the years.
The bright red paint is quite flashy and the shine is brilliant and
panel gaps are excellent, the finish is uniform, and it all fits
together very well indeed, as does the chrome bumpers, exposed
running boards, and body colored red wheels on blackwall tires.
