Vehicle Description
Patina is like a lightning rod for most of us today telling our
minds to "get ready for something special!" and this 1954 Ford F-1
Restomod certainly delivers. Because beneath the worn-in style is
an A/C interior, fuel-injected big block power, four-wheel disc
brakes, and a fully independent sports suspension.
The look on this is pure cool. After all, the patina look is
perfect on pickups because we love it when they have earned their
keep over decades. So the body on this one has an aged-in respect.
Of course, it's also easy to recognize it's something much more
than just an old pickup. The crystal clear headlights, chrome
bumpers, bright side mirrors, tinted windows, and glossy wood in
the truck bed signal larger investments. And of course, the 20-inch
US Mags wheels on the lowered suspension offers a pure modern
aggression. But even as you look at the details, everything from
the way the hood fits to how the doors close with confidence tell
you this has a solid all-around feeling.
The interior really reflects this truck fresh built feel. The bench
seat looks awesome with its light green with cream tuck-and-roll
inserts. Even the steering wheel has been done in two-tone to
match. The dash and door panels also coordinate in light green, and
has a clean and simple design, like a classic truck should. But as
you look closer, you see a ton of great upgrades. For example,
modern R134a air conditioning was cleanly installed under the dash.
You'll slip behind the chrome tilt steering column, grab the tall
Lokar shifter, and watch the full upgraded AutoMeter gauge cluster
do its dance.
Under the hood is a massive 429 cubic-inch V8. This is a terrific
Ford motor that looks awesome in this classic F-1 thanks to the
bright valve covers, a big air grabber, and a tidy setup. But
really what's most attractive is the power it brings it the
streets. Not only is this mighty motor upgraded with a Holley
Sniper electronic fuel injection system, but also an Edelbrock
high-rise RPM performer intake and Sanderson wrapped headers. And
more than just pure performance, it has the right supporting
components, too, like a serpentine belt system and Cold Case
aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. There are cutouts on the
dual exhaust so it's easy to really bright the thunder with this
big block pickup. And while it will be fun to sit idle and let
people listen to the rumble, this F-1 was also built for driving.
The ultra-clean undercarriage photos show you that this one has a
Corvette-inspired suspension. Yes, that's right, you have a fully
independent pickup! There's also easy driving features, like a
stout C6 three-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel power disc
brakes, and performance tires for the best grip.
The sale comes complete with build receipts, maintenance records,
and service manuals. It all proves that this low-mileage patina
pickup is pure awesome. Call today!!!
