For Sale: 1939 Chevrolet Automobile in Lithia Springs, Georgia
This 1939 Chevrolet 5 Window Coupe is a mean-looking hot rod black
machine. But as you look closer, you can see more of a thoughtful
build that gives you everything you want, including an A/C
interior.
Matte black paint is always an attention-getter for a custom car,
especially on this pre-war Chevy. It's an even application that
gives a smooth and uniform sheen over the straight sheetmetal.
Plus, it shows off some of this car's best features, like the
stretched fenders, long hood, and gently sloping trunk. And while
the blackout grille, lowered stance, and sport wheel/tires tell you
this is built to be a street machine, there are also some terrific
classic details. The vintage Chevrolet badge up front, torpedo-like
headlights, and bullet-style taillights are all part of what make
this car timelessly cool.
The red interior has an aggressive style especially with the seats
matching the door panels, headliner, and the trim around the dash.
But while this looks bold, there's a really nice practical side.
For starters, how often do you find modern cold-blowing R134a air
conditioning in a classic like this? Plus, you have a tall Lokar
shifter, sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and a full set of
crisp Stewart Warner gauges with a large Sun Super Tach on top of
the dash.
The engine bay has keeps the hot rod attitude in a cool way. After
all, such a long hood deserved the long block of Chevy's inline six
motor. And the 250 cubic-inch unit is done in a bold yellow. There
are even nice upgrades like an Offenhauser intake and an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor on top. But the real aim of this coupe is to
be a good cruiser. That's why you have a 12-volt electrical system
that supports features for a strong runner like an electric choke
and an electric fan. There's also an upgraded front suspension, a
trailing arm rear, and three-speed automatic transmission. So while
it looks means on the outside, they really have taken steps to make
this quite a nice driver.
This Chevy has something unique to offer from every angle. So when
you like a distinct coupe that's also a comfortable cruiser, you
know this is an irresistible deal. Call today!!!
