1965 Ford Galaxie 500 was acquired by the seller four years ago,
following 20+ years with its previous owner in Carmel, California.
Power comes from a 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic
transmission, and the car is finished in metallic blue with a
two-tone blue vinyl interior. Additional features include a white
soft top, power-assisted steering and brakes, an aftermarket
stereo(under dash), and a dual exhaust system. This Galaxie 500 is
offered with partial service records and a clean California title
The body was finished in Caspian Blue from the factory and features
bright side moldings, rocker panel trim, and bumpers as well as a
replacement power-operated white soft top. 15? steel wheels wear
chrome hubcaps and trim rings and are mounted with Ironman
whitewall tires, which were newly installed approximately a year
ago . The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes.
The interior features front and rear bench seats trimmed in
two-tone blue vinyl. The stock AM radio has been disconnected, and
an aftermarket stereo with a CD player has been added under the
dash. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 91k miles.
Original clock on dash. The 289ci V8 features a chrome Edelbrock
open-element air cleaner and matching rocker covers. The engine
fluids and spark plugs were replaced approximately a year ago.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed
Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. A dual exhaust system has
been fitted. Excellent overall and running condition. No leaks.
