roadster is powered by a 5.3-liter V12engine equipped with quad SU
carburetors and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission.
Refurbishment work completed by Garcia's Classic Car Restoration of
Sauget, Illinois that was completed in 2018. Work focused on the
interior, suspension, brakes, fuel system, and cooling system and
totaled over $40k. Just completed, November 2020 full major service
and major tune-up. Car runs and drives GREAT. Vehicle is finished
in British Racing Green with a new tan soft top over a
reupholstered tan leather interior. Additional features include a
Nardi steering wheel, a trunk-mounted luggage rack, a
stainless-steel exhaust, and newly reconditioned wire wheels. Now
showing 34k miles, this Series III E-Type comes with factory
literature, service records dating back to 1973 and, a pair of
Stromberg carburetors. Paint color is British Racing Green (8641).
Vehicle features include a chrome trunk-mounted luggage rack, a
quad-tipped center-exit exhaust, and a replacement tan soft top
that was installed in 2018. The paint shows spider cracking in
various locations and so paint work is needed. Chrome-finished
replacement wire wheels with two-eared Jaguar knockoffs are wrapped
in 205/70 Goodyear Assurance tires manufactured in 2017. The
suspension and the brakes were overhauled during the 2016-2018
refurbishment. The seats were reupholstered in tan leather with new
foam in 2018, at which time the carpeting, door and kick panels,
and sill plates also were replaced.The wood-rimmed Nardi steering
wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph
speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a five-digit odometer
displaying just over 34k miles. The 5.3L V12 is mated to a
three-speed automatic transmission. The quad SU carburetor setup
was purchased in 2017, and the removed factory Stromberg
carburetors are included in the sale. The radiator, heater core,
fuel tank, fuel pump, and other components also were replaced
during the refurbishment. Vehicle also has stainlesss-steel exhaust
installed. Service records from 1973 to 2018 are included in the
sale along with factory literature. Individual records from the
2016-2018 refurbishment at Garcia's Classic Car Restoration. Year
