We are pleased to welcome this incredibly beautiful & fully restored Chevelle Malibu SS, complete with its original matching numbers engine and drive train. A 454ci 360hp LS5 engine and CRQ code engine and transmission.
FMC is proud to offer this beautiful numbers matching Chevelle SS454. The 1970 Chevelle SS is likely the most popular Muscle Car in automotive history. A true icon. This SS was factory ordered in the rare color combination you see today; Cranberry Red paint (GM color code 75) with matching Red interior. Both the exterior paint and interior are in near perfect condition today after a full high quality restoration years ago.
Optioned with the black stripe package, cowl induction hood with hood pins, this SS has it all. The engine is the 454 LS5 with 360hp. The engine & transmission code CRQ reflects the 454ci / 360hp engine with the 400 Turbo-Hydromatic Transmission.
She came factory equipped with Air Conditioning that was not available on the 450hp LS6. Give alittle! Get Alittle! The air conditioning is ice cold. Other options include power steering, power brakes, an AM-FM stereo with working 8-Track player and working clock. The dash is perfectly clean & clear and every gauge works as it should. The seating is as good as new.
The body is rust free and pin straight. The undercarriage is as clean as the rest of the car. This is a true show piece but there is one small paint defect above the trunk lid between the rear window on the drivers side. The usual spot on many classics of the 60s and 70s (see last photo).
