Stunning CONCOURS restored 1968 Camaro Z28 one the most iconic and desirable car of the 60's.
Only 29,438 miles on the odometer but less then a hundred since a rotisserie restoration.
This stunning, restored, Z/28 was custom ordered during the peak of the muscle car era with only 7199 produced. Of all 1968 Camaros produced fewer than 4% were in rare Butternut Yellow and most certainly considerably less were Z28s'.
Fast forward to 2020 and the Z/28 is still powered by its factory original, numbers matching, 302 cubic-inch, solid-lifter V8. General Motors and Chevrolet conservatively rated these engines at 290 horsepower, however the performance lends to a higher output number.
A recipient of a recent comprehensive restoration, the Camaro has been repainted in its original Butternut Yellow (correct to factory trim tag) black vinyl interior is beyond excellent condition. It would be hard to find a better example, a true Showpiece in any collection.
The Z/28 is nicely equipped with Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission, and extremely rare factory Muncie shifter, 12-bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gear ratio, power brakes and dual-exhaust.
GM Historical data sheet, Factory Sales Invoice and the original Owner's Manual as well as many records accompany this spectacular car..
This is an outstanding example of one of the most Iconic muscle cars ever produced. Extremely high quality restoration, superb workmanship throughout and meticulous attention to detail went into putting this Stellar, show worthy collector car on the market for you to own and enjoy.
