1964 Porsche 356C For Sale - Factory Delivered Colors, Sold New In
TX, Beautifully Restored LMC is very proud to offer for sale this
1964 Porsche 356C First introduced in 1948, the Porsche 356 saw
constant improvements until its final year of production. The last
revision of the 356 was the 356C which featured disc brakes all
round, as well as an option for the most powerful pushrod engine
Porsche had ever produced. Engines available, both of 1.6 liters,
were the 75bhp 'C' and 95bhp 'SC', the latter replacing the Super
90. Visually, there was very little difference between the C series
and the B series. One striking change was the modified rims with
flatter hub caps without Porsche Crest. Among numerous detail
improvements, notably a new ZF steering gear and a compensating
spring at the rear to calm the swing axle rear suspension. As per
the Kardex, this 356C was delivered to Porsche Car Southwest Inc.
in San Antonio, Texas on August 30th,1963. It was factory delivered
in the beautiful Light Ivory paint with Red interior just as it is
presented today. This excellent example was subjected to a
photo-documented restoration by a marque specialist complete with
receipts. The Light Ivory paint is stunning, and the red interior
has been restored completely. Included in the sale is a copy of
original Kardex, restoration receipts, restoration pictures, tools
and more! Welcome at countless vintage driving events or shows the
world over, this beautiful 356C is the perfect addition to any
sports car enthusiast's collection. Additional Details: 1964
