1966 Oldsmobile Toronado Deluxe - 425ci Rocket V8 - Front Wheel
Drive - Factory AC - Incredible Condition (Please note: If you
happen to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main
website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of
this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you
access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage
Kept Motors.) Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this stunning
example from the best decade in General Motors' history. The 1966
Oldsmobile Toronado was state of the art in design and performance,
including cutting edge Front Wheel Drive. The car was powered by
the 425ci Rocket V8 mated to a Turbo-Hydra-Matic three speed
automatic transmission. The Front Wheel Drive allowed a flat floor,
made possible by elimination of the transmission hump. The following
year, Cadillac Eldorado followed the Toronado lead, with its own
FWD version. The Toro was ahead of its time in many ways. The
example offered here is finished in factory original Trumpet Gold
over Black interior, which was repainted in 1990. All surfaces
remain in excellent condition. This Toro has the Deluxe package,
which featured power steering, brakes, windows, locks, six way
seats, dual exhausts, and air conditioning. Iconic classic styling
still turns heads today, with flowing roof line, exaggerated wheel
arches, and hidden headlights, long hood, and pillar-less hardtop
windows. Chrome rocker panels and chrome wheels highlight the side
profile. Inside, the barrel roll speedometer was a one of a kind
feature. This car was a true styling milestone from the 60's. The
car offered here has just had three owners since new, with the
current owner maintaining it for the past 27 years. Always stored
indoors and cared for meticulously. You will be hard pressed to
find another one this clean for this asking price. We also have a
lot of original paperwork to pass on to the new owner. Be sure to
check out all the photos and video on our website: Garage Kept
Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you
