For Sale: 1972 Chevrolet Blazer in St Helena, South Carolina

Vehicle Description

This 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer was purchased by its current owner out California in 2019 and is now in South Carolina and kept in a garage.  We love this truck but due to some family stuff we can't keep it.  It does get a lot of attention so you need to be prepared for people to stop you at traffic lights and parking lots to look at and tell you how beautiful it is.  The work done do it was completed by the last 2 owners in California.  The first few pics we took last weekend and the others we got from the owner last year.  We also have a car cover for the truck.

We can facetime if needed and we will be loading a video as well.  Within a couple hundred miles we can deliver once the truck is purchased.

A previous owner had reportedly installed a new 350ci V8 crate engine, rebuilt the TH350 automatic transmission, and fitted several additional upgrades as detailed below. Since acquiring the truck, the current owner has driven less than 250 miles.  The owner we purchased from only put on about 400 miles while overhauling the interior, adding custom-made 20″ American Racing wheels with new Toyo tires, and equipping a Flowmaster exhaust. Owner prior who had the engine installed drove it aprox. 500 miles.

A lift of approximately 4″ was performed under previous ownership, and four new Pro Comp shocks were installed. The body reportedly was refinished in its current blue with black lower trim under prior ownership. The white factory hardtop is included, and notable cosmetic exterior flaws are shown in the photo gallery below. A rust bubble is present underneath the paint on the lower portion of the driver’s door, and is shown up close in the gallery.

The last owner had a custom set of 20″ x 12″ American Racing wheels produced and mounted with new 35″ Toyo Open Country tires in June 2018. A receipt from Les Schwab in Santa Rosa, California totals $5,417 for the complete setup and is viewable in the gallery. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

In June 2018, previous owner had Minaglia’s Upholstery in Healdsburg, California install new seat foam, covers, door panels, sun visors, and a defrost air hose as well as floor rustproofing and Dynamat sound insulation. The $3k receipt for the work is provided in the gallery. New carpeting was also installed.

An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel is equipped, and a Kenwood in-dash CD player with Bluetooth and satellite radio is hooked up to Kicker door speakers. The speedometer, odometer, and horn are inoperable. Gallery photos of the five-digit odometer show less than 14,800 miles, although true mileage is unknown.

The 350ci V8 crate engine was installed previous owner and is topped with a Summit 600-cfm carburetor. During the transplant the previous owner also added a Tuff Stuff chrome water pump and alternator, Powermaster starter, MSD ignition, Summit three-row aluminum radiator and flex fan, Lokar throttle cable, a new transmission-kickdown cable, and new pulleys and belts. The TH350 automatic transmission is said to have been rebuilt by the previous owner, although records prior to 2018 are unavailable.

Doug Thorley ceramic-coated long-tube headers, new Flowmaster exhaust system was added by previous owners.

there is no A/C but a vintage one could be installed easily
