Vehicle Description
1971 Ford Torino GT Convertible Purchased this 1971 Torino on eBay
in September 2006. The odometer read 37591. Based on the
information I received from the previous owner, I believe that
instrument cluster had been replaced. I think the actual mileage
was closer to about 95,000 miles. I have no way to prove this. The
odometer now reads 38436. The timing chain was original so I
decided to rebuild the engine. I think the water pump is the only
non original engine part. This car has the original numbers
matching 351 Cleveland with a 2 barrel carb and a C4 trans. 3.00
rear axle, hide away headlights, ribbon tach, intermittent wipers
factory center console with bucket seats, air conditioning and new
carpet. The color is "Pewter" which was special order. It also has
the laser stripes, magnum 500 wheels and a power top with back
glass. The car starts and runs as it should. I've kept up with all
maintenance and replaced many small parts.Everything on the car
works except the air conditioning. This will need to be gone
through. This car in no way is a trailer queen. It has some minor
issues (see photos). It looks great at shows or just driving down
the street. The guy before me put a mild dual exhaust on the car. I
re-sleeved the master cylinder with stainless steel. Also has a new
battery. The car left the factory with an AM radio. I have a
factory AM/FM radio in there now. It could be serviced to bring in
all the stations. I have a lot of extra parts including a spare
carburetor. Yes, they go with the car. The owner(s) before me
installed the hide away headlights, laser stripes, intermittent
wipers and magnum five hundred wheels. It's a beautiful car It has
a new spare tire and the steering wheel is in perfect condition, no
cracks! The door panels and armrests are like new, and the seats
have no tears. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at
