Vehicle Description
This is rolling nostalgia. The 1982 Ford LTD Crown Victoria was
part of that popular generation where you or a family member
cherished this full-size coupe. Since this highly-original,
ultra-low mileage, and loaded car is so affordable, you can return
to that time with ease.
You're looking at an amazing survivor. The Medium Fawn and brown
two-tone show all signs of being original to the car, and it looks
fantastic. Of course, it also helps that this has been treated with
care and averaged less than 350 miles annually. The multi-tone
pinstripe, half vinyl roof, and opera windows give this a truly
premium look. That's also why it has such a regal amount of
brightwork, including the bumpers, mirror-like rocker trim, special
Crown Vic badging/ornament, and brightwork that surrounds every
piece of glass. And we especially love those intricate wheel covers
on this cruising classic.
The earthy tan look continues on this time capsule of an interior.
The velour has a comfy button-top design, and full-sized luxury
means you can choose to seat six or fold down the armrests in both
rows to give four people individual pillow-tufted comfort. This
coupe is built to keep the driver comfortably in control. That's
why you have a power adjusting seat and all the essential
components are within easy reach. It's loaded with all the best
features like power windows, power locks, tilt steering column,
rear defrost, cruise control on the steering wheel, and plenty of
wood-like trim. The stereo is even the original AM/FM 8-track and
there's even a case of cartages that come with the sale! While this
one looks like it was frozen in 1982, there were a few key
upgrades. There are cup holders to keep this a fine road trip
classic. Plus, the air conditioning is now blowing cold with modern
R134a refrigerant.
The engine bay keeps the vintage feeling going, right down to the
decals. This is a premium Ford product from the '80s, and so you
know there's a 302ci V8 under the hood. They even gave it a little
extra pep with a Holley four-barrel carburetor. But white this was
the same kind of setup you got in a Mustang, it's a quite different
setup here. It utilizes its powerful and torquey heart in a more
refined way. So no rumbling burnouts here, but you do get to be the
first to pull away for the stoplight any time you want. In fact,
good maintenance on what's believed to be the original motor keeps
this a dignified luxury machine today. Plus, it has power steering,
power brakes w/discs up front, and a four-speed automatic
transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. So it's the kind of
classic luxury that can still easily take you in comfort on the
long road trips.
Comes complete with owner's manual, this is a very cool survivor
that we don't get to see very often. So if you like to drive
something unique, and do it in comfort, don't miss this deal. Call
