Vehicle Description
The early years of light-medium trucks were fabulous time in
automotive history in my book. From 1947, just post war through
1955 Chevrolet called there trucks the Advance-design and GMC
called their truck the New Design. Either way, they are very
attractive. Keep in mind, back then trucks were primarily used on
farms and to work and they had hardly any standard features and
everything including heat was an option. I will cut right to the
chase on this absolute stunner. This truck has obviously received a
complete frame-off rotisserie restoration and formerly comes out of
the collection of Dean Klein the foremost vintage NASCAR restorer.
This truck is finished in "Blue Moon Dust" with a matching
interior. It has a 318/300 Magnum crate motor that sounds about as
nice as it gets. Has a set of custom Sanderson headers, Vintage
Guages, Tilt Wheel, power steering and brakes with front discs.
Vintage Air/Heat, red oak rear bed that has been raised to
accommodate the lowering of the truck. This was possible because
the truck sits on a Camaro front end with a 10 Bolt rear end.
Custom fuel cell, aluminum radiator and much more. Everything on
this truck works perfectly and is a excellent driver as well as
show truck. This has been done to a pretty high standard and would
cost double the asking price to do this on your own. Everything is
steel with no patchwork. A very gorgeous truck for the money.
