For Sale: 1936 Plymouth Street Rod in Concord, North Carolina
When this Plymouth rolled off the assembly line in 1936, it had a
function and it fulfilled that function very well. However, this is
not '36 and this MOPAR has received a complete street rod
restoration with a broad range of mechanical and cosmetic
enhancements, all carried out meticulously. The body is all steel
except for fiberglass rear fenders and running boards and the
professional base/clear Sublime Green finish gives this classic
Plymouth a bold look. The headlights are 'Frenched' and there is
custom interior/exterior lighting. (Note - wipers are currently
inop.) A stunning tan vinyl interior incorporates distinctive
accents, a custom wheel and a beautiful dash that holds a full set
of vintage gauges. Late-model bucket seats, A/C, tinted windows, an
AM/FM/CD/XM stereo system and tilt wheel all combine for a
wonderful driving experience. Horsepower is provided by a Chevy
327ci small-block with aluminum intake, electric fuel pump,
electronic ignition, serpentine belt set-up and electric fan.
Stainless "shorty" tube headers are matched to a custom exhaust and
the transmission is a GM 700R4 4-speed automatic. The chassis has
been modified to integrate power steering, power disc/drum brakes
and a Ford 9" differential with 2.73:1 gearing. Finally, Boyd
Coddington 18" rims w/Raptor radials put the power down. This rare,
handsome, MOPAR street rod will soon make its new owner very proud.
ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
