The MG TD was launched in 1950 and made in Abington, England until
production ended in 1953. The TD features independent front
suspension, rack and pinion steering and is powered by a 1250cc
motor with twin SU carburetors.
This 1953 MG TD is finished in Woodland Green with a green
interior. The body is in average condition with scattered dents and
scratches as seen in photos. Very little rust is seen on the body
besides one small section of drivers side rocker panel that can be
seen in the "undercarriage" video. The matching numbers 1250cc
motor runs well and shifts smoothly through the 4-speed manual
transmission. The green interior is in good condition. The
undercarriage is free of any deep rust or rot.
The windshield wipers have been removed, the original motor and
hardware is available. This vehicle also comes with an aged tonneau
cover.
This 1953 MG TD is a great antique car that can be driven and
