1966 Ford Mustang Fastback GT Clone. Original West Coast car. This is an excellent clone of a '66 GT Fastback. True A-code car with a 289ci V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission. Transmission has been replaced with one from a '66 Fairlane 390 GT with a Hurst T-handle shifter. Original 3.25 8 inch rear end. All the GT details are there. GT fog lights. GT gas cap and emblems. Trumpet exhaust out the back. Car also has the Rally Pac gauges and a center console.

The car is in excellent mechanical condition. Engine was rebuilt less than 5000 miles ago. Ford Racing aluminum intake and valve covers with Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor. No leaks. Braking system has been completely rebuilt and upgraded with a dual master cylinder. Most of the suspension was completely rebuilt as well. Like new tires with less than 2000 miles on them.

Cosmetically, the car has been re-painted in Shelby Blue from its original color of Silver Blue Metallic. The paint is about a 6.5-7 out of 10 and could use a paint job. There are chips all around the car. Some touch ups on the door. A few surface scratches as well. There are also some filler cracks in the rear quarters below the quarter vents in the quarter panel valley and in the rockers as well. The original color and a set of original GT wheels would take this car to another level.

Most of the interior is original with the exception of the front seats which have new upholstery. The carpet is a bit faded and the rear seat has a loose seam, but other than that the interior looks great.  All of the lights and gauges work except for the amp meter and the clock in the Rally Pac.

The floor pans look to have been replaced and undercoated. It looks like they did a pretty good job.

The car decodes as follows:
