Original 1961 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Series. I am the fourth owner, My dad the 3rd owner, my dads brother the 2nd owner. The first owned was the mayor of Houston TX in 1962 where he paid 10k for this ride new. ( have receipts )
The title is clean, but the mileage on the odometer is not accurate. At some point the meter broke. I had the instrument panel restored and had the best guess mileage set. As of not the mileage on the odometer is most likely within a 1k plus or minus.
The serial number stamped on the GM 390 engine matches the VIN of the vehicle this is an numbers car.
I install disc brakes on the front wheels. This is the only modern upgrade installed.
The GM 390 engine was completely overhauled and runs great. (photos of the rebuild can be provided)
The chassis was sandblasted and repainted (photos can be provided)
The Transmission was also overhauled and shifts like butter.
This is turnkey as it is mechanically sound machine however it will require more love to be perfect.
No body work has been done, or interior work. (all original with exception I pulled out the stock am radio)
A/C is not working, the compressor was working at the point of overhaul but I never re-charged the system.
The photos attached are 3 yrs old maybe a 100 miles on the car in all since the photos were taken. I would have current photos but the car being stored at a friends home. The paint is faded more as its been sitting in the az sun.
