Highly Desirable 1960 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1960 Ford Thunderbird
2 Door Hardtop with red exterior paint and a super nice custom
black & white interior. You'll find a 352 cid V-8 engine under the
hood with a 4bbl carburetor and a 3-speed automatic transmission,
both of which have been rebuilt within the last 3,000 miles. This
head-turning classic is also very nicely equipped with power
steering, power brakes, Vintage A/C, new tires and a very nice
aftermarket stereo system.
As you can see from the photographs, this highly desirable 1960
Ford Thunderbird Hardtop is super clean throughout and ready to
enjoy- it must be seen in person to truly appreciate.
Great Overall Condition with Freshly Rebuilt Drivetrain
The current owner of this 1960 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop took
possession in 2015 and he informs us that he has excellent lifetime
documentation to show that this classic has always been maintained
at the highest possible levels. He does believe that the drivetrain
is original and although we can't certify that statement, we can
share that everything looks factory correct and that this classic
vehicle offers really solid overall performance. The motor was
rebuilt within the last 350 miles (Feb 2016) and the transmission
within the last 3,000 miles (May of 2012).
Additionally, this 1960 Ford Thunderbird Hardtop saw the interior
completely restored back in the fall of 2004 and it still shows in
pristine, like-new condition today. You'll find only the slightest
of imperfections across the entire exterior as well- the
professional paint is immaculate and so is all the chrome and trim.
Most collectors would consider this a #1 example since the body
lines are spectacular throughout- this is likely one of the more
pristine, highly original examples nationwide.
