Sold new in Italy, this charming Alfa Romeo 1750 GT was first
registered in the city of Foggia in Puglia under registration
number FG 127658. It is believed that the car remained in its
native Italy until it was exported to Switzerland in 2011. There it
was bought by Paolo Morigi who lived in the Canton of Ticino, an
Italian-speaking region bordering Italy nearby Varese and Como.
Morigi had an exceptional collection of automobiles including a
pair of Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytonas, a 300 SL Roadster, and an Alfa
Romeo TZ amongst other very interesting cars. This 1750 GT reminded
him of his youth and he decided to treat the car to a full
restoration to bring the car back to as-new condition, regardless
of cost. This work took roughly two years to complete and was
finished in 2015. The restoration was completed and the car was
sold prior to Mr. Morigi's passing to the current Italian owner.
Since the completion of the restoration, the car has been driven
only 60 km and as such, it presents in beautiful condition both
inside and out.
Presented in a charming colour scheme of Verde Pino over a Tobacco
interior, this would be an excellent first-time collector car for
the enthusiast looking to enjoy Italian motoring at its best.
