1928 Ford Model A Deluxe Sports Coupe

This is an exceptional Ford Model A Deluxe Sports Coupe that was subject to a very high level complete restoration nearly 20 years ago. The quality of the rebuild still shows today across the entire vehicle. The car has attended and won many car shows in the upper midwest in the 20 years since restoration, and won most that it entered.
The gentleman conducting the restoration meticulously dismantled the car, inventoried each piece and refurbished the car in his basement. Being a die-cast maker by trade, his attention to detail (perfection) dictated the reassembly of this Roadster.
The exterior of the car is all steel, Shortcuts to the restoration were not considered, and each fender, the hood and all body sections were repaired and finished to perfection. Close attention was paid to all body lines and fit and finish on the car looks great. The paint, is a very deep metallic purple (almost black) that presents extremely well. The black fenders are straight and true, and all chrome accents really give that car the right finishing touches. Wide whitewall tires give the car a good stance on the road.
The interior of the car greatly complements the exterior. Complete re-upholstery all around and the vinyl convertible top looks like new. The rumble seat area, often time an after-thought in restoration, is the same high quality fit and finish. All gauges are reported to work and the odometer shows 5 miles, which are believed to be true since the completion of the restoration.
Mechanically, the engine is believed to be original to the car, with the title VIN and serial number on the engine consistent with 1928 production numbers. Having been rebuilt, the motor runs strong and all mechanical components work just as Henry Ford intended. The chassis and components were subject to the same level of restoration, the quality of which is still present.
This is an investment grade Model A or one that will give many driving memories for years to come.
