Produced from 1977 to 1986, the Fleetwood Brougham was the top of the line car rolling off the assembly line from Cadillac. The car maintained it's impressive wheel base at 121.5 inches, making it the largest owner-driven sedan on the American roads of the day. This specific model was more plush and had more standard features than others in the Cadillac line-up.
The car presented at auction is a fine, beautiful, original example. The exterior paint shows extremely well and the vinyl body inserts are free from cracks and degradation. Door jambs as well as the trunk and hood edges are free from rust. The vinyl top is in excellent condition and is free from fading and splits in the material.
The interior of the car is impressively original with clean carpeting, fine leather seats and the original floor mats. The dash components are free from wear and all components are reported to work. The dashboard and headliner are in excellent condition.
Mechanically the car runs and drives great. All power components move the car in the graceful way that Cadillac intended. The owner reports there is no hesitation when considering taking this beautiful Cadillac on a road trip or for a short cruise to shows, ice cream night or the drive-in theatre!
