Vehicle Description
Join the fun in 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air. It has tons of vintage good
looks of a rare hardtop coupe. Plus, there are well-integrated
upgrades that make it a better classic to enjoy out on the
road.
The well-done two-tone of this car is sure to grab attention. The
correct Horizon Blue paint was updated later in life and has been
treated with care. So it retains that bright 1950s pastel look and
a nice shine. The India Ivory shows of the Bel Air's special
hardtop roof. It also coordinates with the streak on the rear
fenders and the whitewall tires for a well-done two-tone. This one
really has all the details you love. Up front, the chrome grille
underlined by a deluxe overrider bumper for added chrome. As you go
further down the car, you'll see the windshield sunshade, dual side
mirrors, and fender skirts. The rear has another chrome overrider
and polished dual tips. The sale even comes with plenty of valuable
extras, extra trim, extra panels, two sets of fender skirts, and
eleven (yes, eleven!) hubcaps. So it's quite a good looker today,
and it even comes with plenty of valuable pieces to keep it this
complete for many years to come.
The interior keeps a classic style with just the right upgrades for
driving. For example, both rows of seats are done in a nice blue to
coordinate with the exterior, and now there's also a comfy cloth
insert for where you sit. The factory AM radio is still in the
dash, but below that they cleanly installed a modern AM/FM/CD
stereo with iPod input so that you can choose your ideal driving
music. What they made sure to keep was that pure vintage feeling
you get from grabbing the large/thin Chevy steering wheel and
watching the factory gauges as you happily motor along.
Open up the hood and the honesty of this classic continues. The 235
cubic-inch Blue Flame six-cylinder motor looks great with the long
blue head, AC oil filter, and oil bath air cleaner. These were an
easy choice to provide reliable power and good torque to keep these
chrome machines cruising down the road. But if you dig a little
deeper, you'll also discover this is actually a more powerful later
version of the motor. Plus, this is now running a 12-volt electrics
and an alternator. Even with these improvements for a better drive,
it still feels like a true classic every time you grab the column
shifter for the three-speed manual transmission.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, maintenance
records, and plenty of extra components. It's a true classic
cruiser subtly improved to make it fun in modern times, too. Don't
miss out, call today!
