Vehicle Description
This 1955 Ford F-100 restomod has a matte black hot rod style on
the exterior that we all love today. But what's really going to
impress you is a modern fuel-injected 5.0 V8 with a supercharger on
top! Plus, it's supported by a fully upgraded suspension,
five-speed stick shift, and four-wheel disc brakes. And you get to
enjoy it all from the comfort of an upgraded A/C interior.
Matte black paint is an instant sign of a true hot rod. It really
gets the stance right, too, with the classic red wheels and
two-piece trim. And those whitewalls have a meatier set in the rear
and there are HD adjustable air bags to give you an intimidating
forward lean-in. There are more terrific classic street machine
details, like the dual spotlights, deleted front bumper, black
grille, and a hint of flames in the finish. But while this one has
a powerful appearance, there's also an overall feeling of quality.
New rubber around the doors, classic badging, and fresh lumber on
the bed floor signal that there was extra thoughtfulness in this
build.
The exterior black returns inside, and all this darkness makes
upgrades like the tan bench seat really stand out. The newer door
panels, newer headliner, working dome light, and other details
continue the quality feeling. There's even cold-blowing R134a air
conditioning to make this a nice place to spend some time. The wood
rim on the steering wheel coordinates with the wood knob on the
floor shifter. Plus, as a true upgraded pickup, the factory gauges
are fully supplemented with well-placed readouts, including a
column-mounted tach.
The reason why this one can look so mean on the outside is because
of what's under the hood. This classic Ford has been upgraded to
more modern times with a 5.0-liter fuel injected V8. It has all the
right go-fast goodies, like an Edelbrock performer intake, 70mm
throttle body, and MAC mid-length headers that feed a bass-filled
dual exhaust. There's even an aluminum radiator w/electric fan to
help keep the whole package running cool. And yes, we didn't forget
about the supercharger that turns this into a true super restomod
pickup. It makes for a wicked and powerful setup, and so you need
the best upgrades in control. The Tremec five-speed manual
transmission lets you fully harness the supercharged V8 as it feeds
the limited-slip rear end. As you look at the undercarriage photos,
you'll see desirable added features like the reinforced Mustang II
tubular A-arm front end and a sturdy trailing arm rear. Plus,
there's rack & pinion power steering and four-wheel power disc
brakes to deliver a terrific all-around driving package.
It took a lot of time, effort, and money to get an upgraded classic
like this. So if you love a mean-looking and powerful classic
pickup that's also quite comfortable, don't miss this deal. Call
