**** THIS VEHICLE WILL BE OFFERED FOR AUCTION AT THE
BARRETT-JACKSON SCOTTSDALE CLASSIC & COLLECTOR CAR AUCTION - MARCH
20 - MARCH 27, 2021 **** This stunning, restored, Z/28 was custom
ordered during the peak of the muscle car era and is just one of
the 20,302 manufactured. Of all 1969 Camaros produced fewer than
8.5% were in this striking Hugger Orange color and most certainly
considerably less were Z/28s'. Fast forward to 2020 and the Z/28 is
still powered by its original, numbers matching, 302 cubic-inch DZ
solid-lifter V8. General Motors and Chevrolet conservatively rated
these engines at 290 horsepower, however the performance lends to a
higher output number. A recipient of a recent comprehensive
restoration, the Camaro has been repainted in its original color of
Hugger Orange (correct to factory trim tag) and the ivory/black
vinyl interior is in excellent condition. The Z/28 is nicely
equipped with M21 4-speed manual transmission, Hurst shifter,
12-bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gear ratio, power brakes
and dual-exhaust. The trim tag shows this car to have been built in
the Norwood assembly plant during the 2nd week of January 1969, and
indicates the car as being a coveted X33 code Camaro containing the
Z/28 Special Performance Equipment. Documentation includes a copy
of the original Sales Invoice and the original Owner's Manual. The
Camaro Hi-Performance Certificate of Authenticity and Appraisal
Report are included as well. This gorgeous Z/28 is in impeccable
condition, both cosmetically and mechanically, and is ready to be
showed or cruised. Original Z/28s' are very hard to find in today's
Camaro collector world, further enhancing this example's
significance, so don't miss your opportunity to own one of the most
sought-after muscle cars of the 1960s'! Stock Number: HC2329 VIN:
