1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS 396 TRIBUTE STK #: T-1319 This 2 owner 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 Tribute Coupe was originally built in October of 1969 at the Norwood, Ohio plant. The previous owner purchased it from the original purchasing family and has had it stored in his garage for over ten years. Power is now from an original Camaro 396ci V8 mated to the original TH350 automatic transmission and original 10-bolt rear end. This is an X-11 code original SS 350 car, which has had a big block transplant. Features consist of a center console, power steering, cowl induction style hood, fog lights, and bucket seats. The car has been repainted in a beautiful LeMans Blue finish about 10 years ago with a complementing white Hockey stripe down the side. Super Sport badges adorn the front fenders below the Camaro logos, 396 fender logos, rear quarter vent moldings, dual side mirrors, white side stripe, blacked out tail light section and blacked out grille. New 15 inch Rallye wheels retain chrome rings and Chevrolet hub covers and are wrapped in New BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires sized 215/60. New shocks, fuel pump and K&N air cleaner have all been installed, as well as all fluids recently changed. Bucket seats and interior have all be been reupholstered in factory black vinyl while other interior pieces retain the original coded black custom interior. Factory equipment includes the X-11 style trim group, a center console, and a Custom Autosound AM/FM/Cassette/AUX player. A new vintage style 3 spoke aluminum Chevrolet steering wheel replaces the original wheel. The 5-digit odometer shows 71,450 miles, with true mileage unknown. The 396ci V8 is mated to a three-speed TH350 automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear end. Factory power steering, front power disc brakes, and dual Flowmaster exhaust with Doug Thorley headers are equipped. The data tag shows a production date of the fifth week of October, 1969 and indicates that this car was originally finished in Burnished Brown over Champagne from new.
