Offered for sale is a 1965 Porsche 356 C Cabrio, painted in its original color of rare Bali Blue. Being the last year of production, it is considered the most desirable, and rare, with only 588 Cabrios made for this year. This car was the recipient of a lovely full restoration, inside and out. The restoration was completed over a 5 year period, and addressed every aspect of the car. The car was completed by Gerry McCarthy at Kam Motors in CT. The mileage is original, as corroborated by service records dating back to 1980. Just prior to our acquisition of the car, it received a service at a renowned service facility in New England, including a compression test, which came back with flying colors. The car is remarkably well documented including most receipts for the 5 year restoration from 2001 - 2006. The paint is excellent and the interior appears as new. The hard top has been fully restored in Bali Blue, and the blue Soft Top is new. At some point the car received a correct type 356 C engine, which has been upgraded to exceed 912 specifications, making in excess of 95HP. Upgraded Carburetors accompany this additional power.
