A beautiful older restoration of a fine numbers matching classic......recently improved with engine rebuild, carb rebuild, all new brakes, new leather interior, etc. Zeros smoke cold or hot, 60 psi oil pressure at operating temperature, quiet valves, no oil leaks other than an occasional drop from the rear main seal (well, the slinger, as TCs don't have rear main seals!)
Excellent wood framing and sheet metal.........went over the exterior with a magnet, no sign of plastic filler. And paint quality if very good in a deep lovely British Racing Green. Same with chrome, trim, even has 'period' chrome bumpers. New 450-19 Dunlops on a good set of 19" wire wheels, new chrome knock offs, working turn signals, original rear 'D' lights, original King of the Road headlights, original wind lights rewired for turn signals.
Top and side curtains (both in tan cloth) aren't very old and in very good condition fit nicely Wiring harness is cotton covered and appears to be fairly new. Everything works including the dash mounted interior lights and even the wiper motos.
Has its original air cleaner, very nicely detailed engine bay, proper SU fuel pump, new Aeroquip fuel and oil lines, AND.........nicely detailed chassis and paintwork under the fenders.
With the Tompkins kit, steering is very good, brakes work well, same with ride, handling, and the engine is very lively up to its 6,000 rpm redline. All in all, a very good example of this iconic sports car and certainly sufficiently clean for most local shows.
