Sold new by Ineco Ferrari of Padova, this 550 Maranello was first
registered on June 8 1999 to a leasing company, Bolzano HYPO
Vararlberg. It bore an incredible and perhaps unique colours cheme
of Grigio Titanio over a Rosso Cartier leather interior with Blu
Scuro carpets. In March of 2001, the car was serviced by Michelotto
Giuliano of Padua, having been driven 3,390 km. At this time, it
was in the ownership of Gabriele Piccolo, also of Padua. The
following year, the car was sold again and a service in 2003 at
Ferrari's official dealer in Rome noted that it had been driven
10,718 kilometers.
Remaining in Italy, the 550 Maranello had its timing belts replaced
on September 3, 2010, having been driven 21,766 km by that point.
In July of 2015, it was acquired by its current owner, a well-known
collector from Florence. With him, it has been driven a few
thousand kilometers and presently shows just under 28,000 km from
new. The car is upgraded with brakes sourced from a Ferrari F50, as
well as an upgraded exhaust, and both the original brakes and
exhaust will accompany the car. Importantly, it is accompanied by
its original books, including the original service manual, as well
as several invoices.
Boasting a unique specification and a handful of tasteful upgrades,
this would surely be an excellent 550 Maranello to drive and
enjoy.
