condition and has certainley stood the test of time. The subject of
a high-quality, body-off, nut-and-bolt refurbishment performed some
time ago and followinmg years of care and enjoyment with private
collectors, this pre-WWII gem now displays a charming character and
subtle mellowing of the restoration. On the outside the exterior is
finished in a beautiful yellow and black two-tone finish with
gleaming chrome accessories. The brightwork is in excellent order
and includes an exceptional original grill with its unique 8
radiator cap hood ornament that is a pure work of art and hints at
the powerplant under the hood. Driven by a 272 cubic-inch
straight-eight producing 90 H.P., along with a manual transmission,
the Buick drives and performs flawlessly. This classy coupe rides
on authentic wood-spoke artillery wheels with chrome center caps
mounted to white wall tires. Inside the cabin is an upholstered
velour interior featuring a full-size bench seat with room for two
while out back a rumble seat resides for occasional passengers. The
dash is painted black, with a burl walnut insert and original
instruments and controls all presented in good order. Door panels
and carpets are tidy and consistent with the well-kept older
restoration. The unique and handy golf-club door on the passenger
side allows for easy loading. This classic Buick runs as good as it
looks and is ready for cruising anytime of the year. As a AACA
National First Prize winner, this Coupe is an ideal candidate for
