1963 Mercury Comet Very Rare 1963 Comet Custom born with a factory
260 V8 & 4 speed trans. It has been off the road since the 80's and
is in very good original un-molested condition & still wearing
probably 90% of it's original paint. The original 260 engine was
rebuilt back in the early 80's and last time I had it running still
sounded good. The car does have some minor rust in both rear
quarters around the wheel lip and there is some in the front fender
aprons under the hood but nothing serious. The car over all, is
extremely solid and NOT a rusty car. Pretty much every thing in car
works including the factory radio etc.. The car really deserves to
be restored but someone could probably be driving it in a weekend
as is with some minor work as the car been off the road for so
long. The car will need the gas tank drained of the old gas, maybe
a carb kit, oil change & a new battery to get it running. Can
almost guarantee you will never see another one like this at the
car show or cruise in. Clean & clear NM title Please Note The
