1965 Corvair Monza Convertible. Recently painted Nassau Blue
(average paint job/body work) New - 'Empire' convertible top
professionally installed on 9/20. New carpet, seats in decent
shape, minor tears but could use some attention. Most everything
works in the interior with the exception of the radio. Many new
trim pieces such as mirrors, door handles, brake light assemblies,
turn signal assemblies (rear), scripts etc. New alternator battery
and 2 new Rochester carburetors, plugs points distributor cap and
condenser installed 8/20. Replaced wiring harness in engine
compartment. Engine removed and all seals replaced, valve
adjustment, along with maintenance to the transmission. New brake
system including all lines, shoe springs wheel cylinders etc.
Included is a set of tires on original black rims with original
hubcaps. All glass in good shape with minor scratches/nicks.
Steering column removed and rebuilt with bearings, seals, turn
signal mechanism. There is more work to be done on the steering
including rebuilding the steering box, replacing tie rod ends,
control arm bushings and drag link. (These parts are readily
available from Clark's Corvair parts). The current owner has all
receipts for parts and work completed. Car has been a project that
he and his 10 year old grandson have been working on for about 3
years. Due to health reasons, he won't be able to complete the
project. As far as he can tell, this car has been in the South
since purchased new. He will include all repair manuals, paper work
