Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevrolet C10 Stepside get the full classic attitude
right. It has a nice vintage looks on the outside, plenty of recent
investments for utility, and you get to enjoy this full versatile
V8 package from an upgraded interior.
The color on this one makes a good first impression. The fiery
orange was an upgrade later in life, and it retains a nice gloss
that highlights the extra curves that come on these stepside pickup
beds. There are classic pieces like the bright chrome bumpers, and
even a classic Thriftmaster badge on the side. These are joined by
nice upgrades like the newer wheels, tinted windows, and polished
dual exhaust tips. But the investments that you're going to like
the best are the ones that add to the utility. Underneath that
flush-fitting tonneau cover is a well-done truck bed. The inner
walls have been done in robust black paint, and there' a thick
rubber mat on the floor. There's still real wood underneath if you
wanted to showcase the bed, but the Yakima adjustable rack system
that was installed suggests this one likes to be helpful. That's
why you also have a newer trailer hitch with proper wiring plug,
larger trailering mirrors, and a trailer brake. In fact, we have
receipts from the last few years totaling over $7k for investments
in this pickup that not only include these useful features, but
also pieces that make this truck more useful and comfortable.
That's why it feels like an all-around good value.
Inside is a well-done setup in a sturdy black. There are good
fundamentals like newer carpeting, a smooth dash pad, and a newer
seat cover. Plus, they added some upgrades along the way, like an
AM/FM radio and a wood and chrome steering wheel. There was even
R134a air conditioning added within the last few years (it will
need a recharge to blow ideally cold again.) It all makes for a
nice place to spend some time.
The dark black engine bay has a bright V8 heart in the middle. So
while the classic Thriftmaster badge is a cool reminder when this
was an inline-six truck, you now have a 307 cubic-inch small block.
It was recently upgraded with a full Edelbrock suite that includes
a four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake, polished air grabber,
and matching valve covers. There are also newer belts, hoses, and
electronic ignition to keep this a sturdy and robust powerhouse.
And you get to full control of this V8 in the vintage way thanks to
the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The suspension
is a great one for the road with the C10's trailing arm setup and
new sway bars front & rear. Plus, you have power steering, power
brakes, and wide Cooper Cobra tires to make this an easy choice for
any time.
Complete with build receipts and maintenance records, this is the
classic stepside look you love and the utility you really want from
a pickup. It's a total package truck, and at a price like this, it
will be gone soon. Call today!!!
