Vehicle Description
Late-model trucks don't get much rare than this. Take a look at
this incredibly special 2004 Chevrolet Silverado RST by Regency
Conversions - an uber-limited RST truck designed by world-renowned
motoring superstar, Chip Foose. Combining the boxy proportions and
softened edges of the light-duty Chevy Silverado with a host of
performance upgrades and slick exterior mods, this low-mileage,
custom street truck is ready to turns some heads and collect some
pinks slips.
Build a truck this nice and you're bound to get noticed everywhere
you go. Fortunately, the work is tasteful and well-executed thanks
to the skillful hands of the top professionals in the trade, using
the tried-and-true custom tricks that make these trucks among the
most popular with street truck enthusiasts. Finished in deep black
paint, this truck would ordinarily keep a low profile. However,
that all changed with the addition of a lowered stance, billet
grilles up front, a set of custom red SS stripes on the hood and
tailgate spoiler, and a set of bright chrome wheels, all of which
transform this truck into something very special. Workmanship is
impeccable, with a fantastic shine to the black finish and great
attention to detail that includes the stripes on the roof and Pace
Edwards bed tonneau cover, all of which line up beautifully from
panel to panel. The Regency RST includes a reworked front fascia
with a billet grille between the headlights, along with one between
the running lights in the front bumper, and the rear bumper was
ditched in favor of a custom roll pan with integrated square
exhaust tips that fits like it was born there. Other than the red
Bowtie up front and RST decals throughout, most of the emblems have
been shaved for a very clean look, and the polished chrome on the
front bumper, grille, and door handles add a killer bright contrast
to the sinister black finish. And with a lowered stance, this slick
pickup will make you forget about your chores and instead encourage
you to head out and have some fun.
Chevy trucks have come a long way in terms of comfort, and this
Silverado is outfitted in a way that would make a Cadillac owner
jealous. Factory leather buckets with sued inserts are all-day
comfortable for long hauls and aside from some very minor comfort
marks here and there, it's all in fantastic shape. The RST package
comes with some super-cool upgrades to match the exterior,
including Fire Red stitching in the black leather seats, 'Regency'
script in the headrests, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with that
matching red stitching, a sporty carbon-fiber mask on the dash, and
a bespoke Regency 5-speed shifter with a leather boot and exclusive
cue ball knob. Everything is included, from A/C to power windows,
locks, mirrors, and seats, to a powerful aftermarket AM/FM/CD
stereo system. White-faced analog gauges anchor the cabin, knobs
and dials are big enough to operate with gloves on, and all the
modern components make this truck feel substantial and durable. The
wide center console is a practical spot to stash small items with
cup holders and could even double as a middle seat in a pinch. It's
all in great shape, from the carpet, to the headliner, to the door
panels - further proof that this low-mileage, limited-edition truck
has always been treated like a member of the family.
For power production, this Chevy is packing a GM 4.8L V8 engine
that's been bolted-up to a quick-shifting 5-speed manual
transmission. With only 2,763 miles on the clock, it runs superbly,
with enough power and torque up and down the throttle to challenge
all-comers out on the street. The RST included a few breathing mods
that add a few ponies as well, including a full K&N cold-air
intake system, ceramic headers, and a high-performance Power Flow
exhaust system that sounds awesome barking through the stainless
tips on the rear bumper. And best of all (at least in my opinion),
is that all that modern GM power is hooked up to a quick-shifting
5-speed manual that can handle itself off the line with great power
and at highway cruising speeds as well. Power steering and giant
Baer power 4-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors were
all part of the RST package, and the truck handles impressively
thanks to the purpose-built Regency Sport Tuned Suspension
underneath. No Chip Foose vehicle is complete without flashy
wheels, and this one carries exclusive chrome Regency Speedster
wheels by Foose wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GTII radials.
Super rare and supremely pedigreed, this low-mileage Silverado
Regency RST is one of the coolest late-model trucks we've ever
featured, and exclusivity like this never lasts long. Call
