For Sale: 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in Saint Louis, Missouri

Vehicle Description

Built as a Pro-Touring car, this 1969 Mustang Mach 1 has 3000 miles on a rotisserie restoration. It’s sharp looking, powerful, fully sorted, and ready to enjoy.

The body was stripped down and refinished in a two-stage silver paint. It’s slick and has a nicely sanded and buffed clear coat. Open the hood and you’ll find a detailed engine compartment, and the undercarriage has been refinished in all-new black paint as well. The interior is redone with all new seat covers and a nice, accurate set of Autometer gauges. You’ll also find a tilt steering column and contemporary stereo set up.

The front end was built with Mustang II style suspension components, which provide better geometry and add a nice feeling steering rack. Also beefing up the front suspension are upper and lower tubular control arms, and of course all new bushings. Stiffening up the body are a set of subframe connectors, and outback you’ll find a 9” and leaf springs. Bringing the Mustang to a stop are a set of 4-wheel disc brakes.

The engine is a full roller 351 with Trick Flow heads, an Edelbrock intake, a Demon carb, an MSD Pro-Billet distributor. The engine exhales through a set of ceramic-coated shorty headers and dual exhaust out the back with FlowMaster mufflers. Keeping the engine cool is an aluminum radiator, and the front-drive setup is from March. The engine makes almost 500 HP and is a blast to drive around town.
